Harnessing Renewable Energy
Solar and Storage Live is a key calendar date for the UK renewables sector, and Immersa have been a leading supporter of the event over the years. This year is no different as we again prepare to meet attendees, other exhibitors and strategic partners from our base at Stand A10.
The event aims to connect the solar, storage and electric vehicle industries to power future energy systems. The event is on track for this year to be the biggest yet, with over 8000 registered attendees.
Over three days from the 18-20th October, this free event at Birmingham, NEC, Solar & Storage Live is the UK’s largest renewable energy exhibition celebrating the technologies at the forefront of the transition to a greener, smarter, more decentralised energy system.
Split into three parts, the conference, the exhibition and the installer training hub, and as a megawatt sponsor, Immersa will have a presence across the event.
Featuring industry leaders sharing their views and expertise on key topics, including responsive power, future power networks, EV, infrastructure, and PV technology.
Immersa CEO Robert Miles will be speaking and moderating a Large-Scale Utility Solar panel discussion: Community Led Solar and Local Energy Solutions. Mary Gillie founded Energy Local, and Marie-Louise Abretti, the lead on Solar Together for iChoosr, will join Robert in discussing training, community engagement, and the challenges. They will also discuss how to engage with Distribution Network Operators (DNO) and how to achieve net zero carbon reductions.
For those interested in Community Renewable projects, this session on Tuesday, October 18, at 15:40, is not to be missed and the perfect opportunity to hear from some of the UK’s leading experts in this area.
The free-to-attend exhibition will see over 200 exhibitors from across the globe, covering every area of the renewable energy sector, from planning to funding and technology to ROI.
Based on stand A10, Immersa will have our expert team on hand to provide advice on turnkey renewable energy solutions. The Immersa approach benefits businesses and organisations through on-site renewable energy generation with battery storage solutions. The push towards sustainability and net zero have never been so critical. Whether you are looking for commercial, utility-scale, or home energy solutions and storage, Immersa will be happy to chat over the options available and set aside some time for a more in-depth look at helping you become energy-independent.
This year the event brings you an expert installation training hub delivered by leading solar industry training providers—the training hub is dedicated to Solar PV Module and Mounting, Inverter and Battery Storage installation and commissioning.
Installer Training Hub combines demonstration rigs and installation techniques with battery and inverter Walls set up side-by-side, demonstrating how to calibrate and commission PV systems to the latest systems.
Installer Training Hub is the centre for professional development and sharpening your expertise, whether new to the industry or an experienced installer researching the latest products and technologies launched in the market.
Immersa is certified under the Microgeneration Scheme—The MCS NAPIT certification verifies that Immersa has reached the requirements of the Microgeneration Certification Scheme to undertake the supply, design, installation, set up work, commissioning and handover of the microgeneration systems.
